Pete Hellmann Accepted In Inaugural Exhibition Of Community Arts Work

July 31st, 2009 - Schuyler, VA

BRIDGES is the theme of the inaugural art exhibition of CommunityArtsWork. The September - December 2009 exhibition will be held in the Holtzman Alumni Center at Virginia Tech. The focus on bridges-both physical and metaphysical-symbolizes connection and transition. Bridges connect town and gown, past and future, linking destinies and transforming challenges into opportunities. This theme reflects CommunityArtsWork's commitment to new forms of expression in the arts as well as the active collaboration and exchange among established and emerging artists, arts advocates, and campus-community partners who see the arts and humanities as vital for understanding our global society and as a rewarding vocational or avocational pathway. Two of the entries that have been accepted are by Pete Hellmann; Enchanted Tree and Garden View.

About CommunityArtsWork
