The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This was taken on one of the worst day of my life. In the morning, when I tried to fill the tank at a self service gas station, I found I lost my wallet. My friend had a US credit card which is not accepted by Iceland self service gas station. We only had cash with us. We had to wait visitor coming from US and ask them to help us to add value of gas to our car so we could reach next full service station.
